Academic Year 2011-12
Academic Year 2011-12
- Prefect of Class (Year 5) - My first official position as a leader.
- School Orchestra Lead Keyboardist - The beginning of my musical career in school all thanks to the music teachers recognizing my talents and giving me the opportunity of playing the lead keyboard in various school functions hereafter.
- Class Monitor of Class (Year 7) - This was a time when monitors ruled the class :D
- Alpha House Captain (Year 8) - After being a part of the schools junior basketball team and other various sports activities, i debuted in the student council as a house captain. this particular leadership role was a Great learning experience and it was the time i had to use the maximum amount of leadership skills i learnt over the past years. In the end, To my joy, Alpha house secured 1st position in year 8 and second position throughout the whole school and i was satisfied as a leader
- Badminton School Team Captain - My passion for badminton had reached a whole new level after being appointed this role. we as a school participated in Shuttle time School tournament for the first time ever and Successfully secured 3rd position out of 35 other schools in the under 15 boys category.
- Class Prefect- I held a 'lighter' responsibility this year as we approached our first IGCSE examinations and i decided to step away from the extra activities and focus on these exams.
- Head of Cultural Unit (Year 11) - After being satisfied with the growth of my Music skills, I decided to go back to my roots as a leader and take the position I always felt comfortable with but at a higher level than before, and thus I applied for the Cultural Unit position. Even with years of experience, there was always something I could improve on and even more that I could learn. Adding on to my music skills, i had volunteered in various event management roles which helped me to organise a major event of my batch, the 'TALENTASTIC!' and also the last time i guided the orchestra and school choir for a performance, that too at my own graduation.
